I’ve been playing at casinos for a long time. And recently, during another gaming session, I was wondering how the process of game development actually works. Do providers develop absolutely all of their games from start to finish themselves, or do they simply buy them from third-party developers? I thought about this while browsing the page for slot developer EdgeLabs at an online casino. Their games has a wide variety of themes and completely different art styles. However, sometimes some of them seem very similar. So I became curious: do such large companies develop these games in-house, or do providers simply distribute these games to casino sites, while the actual products are created by other studios? That would explain why so many new games are released, and why some of them differ significantly in graphics, while others look somewhat similar to one another. Does EdgeLabs create all its content exclusively with its own staff, or does it work with partner teams? It would be really interesting to find out, since this developer is my favorite.
