My wife and I have finally settled in after immigrating to Ontario, and I want to share our recent experience with you, as promised. We were really worried about our flight as it was our first-ever cross-continental one and we were carrying four heavy suitcases besides us. To relieve my fears and to get an accurate picture of the process of the airport, I spent a good chunk of my time on forums researching it. Though the airport is the size of a small city, there are plenty of hand-pushed baggage carts and they are even available right there besides the baggage conveyor belts. We just got all our bags loaded onto a cart and went toward the exit. If you are thinking about coming with lots of luggage I highly recommend ignoring the public transport and heading directly for the official taxis in Terminal 1, Door 15 or 17. There is a staff member arranging the line in front so that everything is orderly and that you don’t have to wait forever. We reached Mississauga quite quickly with minimal hassle.
