sevenround Eagles mock over to The Feed to submit your post to have a chance to be featured in The Linc!Philly21Mar 14Bleeding Green NationThe Perfect Draft Why This Could Be the Perfect Draft for the Philadelphia EaglesIf there’s one thing the Philadelphia Eagles have proven over the past decade, it’s that our front office knows how to build a roster that formula is clear: dominate the trenches, stockpile versatile athletes, and draft players who can develop behind established veterans before stepping into bigger mock draft hits every one of those a dynamic offensive weapon early to lateround developmental pieces along the line, this class quietly addresses both present needs and future transitions on the ‘s break down why my draft would be an ideal haul for our beloved 1 “ Kenyon Sadiq, TE OregonThe Eagles’ offense has always been at its most dangerous when the tight end position is a focal Dallas Goedert still producing at a high level and perhaps leaving soon, drafting Kenyon Sadiq from the Oregon Ducks football gives the team another explosive passcatching option while also planning for the brings speed, athleticism, and the ability to stretch the middle of the can line up as a traditional tight end, move into the slot, or even operate as an the offense run by Nick Sirianni, that versatility is extremely in his career, Sadiq could thrive in twotightend sets while developing into a longterm successor at the 2 “ Jacob Rodriguez, LB Texas TechLinebacker might not always be the Eagles’ flashiest investment and we generally don’t invest this highly in the position, but we value instinctive players who can diagnose plays Rodriguez from Texas Tech Red Raiders football fits that profile is a relentless defender with strong tackling fundamentals and excellent awareness in the middle of the may not arrive as a Day 1 star, but his motor and instincts give him a strong chance to become a reliable defensive minimum, he would contribute on special teams early while developing into a starting linebacker with probowl dude was a Heisman contender, and I believe he is going to be a star in the 3 “ D’Angelo Ponds, CB IndianaCornerback depth is always critical in today’s NFL, especially for a defense that relies on strong coverage ‘s where D’Angelo Ponds from the Indiana Hoosiers football becomes an intriguing is competitive, quick, and aggressive in could compete immediately for nickel snaps while also developing into a future outside 3 “ Garrett Nussmeier, QB LSUTeams rarely think about the backup quarterback position until they need Eagles, however, have often prioritized developing quarterbacks behind Jalen Nussmeier from LSU Tigers football has one of the stronger arms in the class and thrives in aggressive downfield passing behind Hurts would give him time to refine his decisionmaking while learning the if he never becomes a starter in Philadelphia, quarterbacks with upside often turn into valuable trade assets later about the early investment now, just like we all did when draft from your mistakes, I know I 4 “ Dametrious Crownover, OT Texas A;MFew teams develop offensive linemen better than the Eagles, largely thanks to offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.I curse the day he decided to leave!!!!Dametrious Crownover from Texas A;M Aggies football fits the mold of the kind of lineman Philadelphia loves: big, physical, and veterans like Lane Johnson eventually nearing the later stages of their careers, investing in young tackles who can develop in the system is a smart longterm 4 “ Nick Singleton, RB Penn StateGetting Nick Singleton from the Penn State Nittany Lions football in the fourth round would feel like stealing.I love this is a powerful runner with breakaway speed Cam Lampkin Jersey, capable of turning small gaps into explosive Philadelphia’s dominant offensive line, his running style could translate extremely well to the an offense where Hurts already stresses defenses with his mobility, adding another explosive runner would only make things more 5 “ Jalen Farmer, IOL KentuckyThe Eagles have built their identity around offensive line strength, and they never stop adding to Farmer from the Kentucky Wildcats football brings versatility across the interior at guard or center, he has the physical traits to develop into a valuable depth under the guidance of Birds coaching staff, midround offensive linemen in Philadelphia often turn into much more than just , why Jeff, why????Round 5 “ Chris McClellan, DL MissouriDefensive line rotation is one of the Eagles’ core want waves of fresh linemen attacking opposing McClellan from the Missouri Tigers football adds another physical presence to the he may begin as a rotational player, his size and strength make him a strong fit for the Eagles’ defensive proper development, he could become an important depth piece in the “ Nadame Tucker, EDGE Western MichiganLateround picks are about traits and upside, and Nadame Tucker from the Western Michigan Broncos football checks that flashes athleticism and passrush potential that could make him a developmental project worth investing Philadelphia’s defensive system, even rotational edge rushers can have meaningful Tucker develops properly, he could eventually become a situational pass rusher off the Big PictureWhat makes this draft class so compelling is how well it aligns with the Eagles’ longterm strengthens the offensive and defensive lines, adds explosive skill players, and introduces multiple prospects who can develop behind veterans before stepping into larger other words, it’s exactly the type of draft that keeps the Philadelphia Eagles competitive year after if things break right, several of these players could eventually become the next wave of starters in
