I’ve got a 2018 Levante that’s been absolutely brilliant, but over the past few months the ride quality has really gone downhill to the point where I’m starting to dread driving it. The car feels bouncy and unsettled, especially over those rough patches on the way to work, and I’m pretty sure the shock absorbers are completely worn out after 90,000 kms of Dubai driving. I’ve read that using non-genuine parts on these cars can really mess with the handling and even affect the Skyhook suspension system, so I’m keen to find a workshop that uses quality components and actually knows what they’re doing. I’ve been told that some places claim they can do the job cheaply but then end up using aftermarket parts that don’t perform the same way, which is the last thing I want. A friend of mine mentioned that there’s a specialist who deals with Italian cars and sources genuine parts, but I’m not sure where exactly. I’ve been looking for a Certified Maserati shock absorber installation in Dubai because I want the peace of mind that comes with knowing the job has been done properly and the suspension will work as it should. Has anyone here had their Levante or Ghibli shocks replaced recently and can recommend a place that actually knows these cars? I’m particularly keen to know if the workshop can handle the electronic calibration afterwards, because I’ve heard that’s something that gets overlooked and then the car doesn’t ride properly.
