I’ve been playing the original Chicken Road at another site for months. Decided to actually compare it head to head with https://chicken2.casino/ tonight. Same computer, same bet size ($1 CAD), same difficulty (Medium). Played 50 rounds on each.
The most obvious difference? The original has a 98% RTP. Chicken2 shows 95.5%. That 2.5% doesn’t sound huge but I felt it. On the original, my $50 lasted about 70 rounds before I was down to $10. On Chicken2, same $50 only got me about 55 rounds. Real difference.
But here’s the thing – Chicken2 feels more intense. The highway setting and traffic sounds make every lane crossing nerve wracking. The original in the dungeon setting is darker but somehow less urgent. Also the animations are smoother on Chicken2. Rounds reset faster which matters when you’re grinding.
The difficulty modes also feel rebalanced. Medium on Chicken2 is closer to Hard on the original. I actually had to drop down to Easy on Chicken2 to get the same survival rate I was used to on Medium with the first game.
So which is better? If you care about RTP and bankroll longevity, stick with the original. If you want cleaner visuals and more tension per round, Chicken2 wins. I’ll probably bounce between both depending on my mood.
