How to Select Matches for Independent Analysis

How do you choose which matches are actually worth analyzing in depth? I used to want to look at the entire schedule at once, but I’d end up overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information and get tired quickly. Now, I think it makes more sense to pick a few interesting matchups in advance and calmly gather statistics for them. However, I’m not sure which matches are best suited for this approach: big-name teams, evenly matched opponents, or games with a clear favorite? I’d love to know how you filter the schedule and what signs tell you that a specific match is worth analyzing.
