Has anyone here actually used a home care service for an older parent or family member in Columbus? I’m starting to look into it for someone in my family and I’m a little confused about how the whole process works. They’re doing okay overall and want to stay at home, but they could use some help with things like meals, getting ready, household chores, and occasionally getting around safely. I’ve searched for home care Columbus and found quite a few options, but it’s hard to tell which ones are actually worth considering and whether we should be looking at a few hours a day or something more regular. For those who have been through this, what did you look for when choosing a caregiver or agency, and was there anything you wish you had asked before getting started?
