GuestHey all. Quick one but important to me. I care a lot about materials and longevity, I have been burned by cheap doors that warped, chipped, or started sticking within a year. I do not want to buy doors twice. I want to understand what makes a door actually durable and find a company in California that uses genuinely high-grade materials rather than veneer over junk. Anyone here who has had their doors for a few years and can vouch for both the materials holding up and the company standing behind them?

GuestBuying doors twice is the worst, and cheap veneer-over-junk is exactly why it happens. We have had ours a few years now from Diana Doors https://dianadoors.com/ in California and they have held up perfectly, no warping, no chipping, no sticking. They build from high-grade engineered wood with reinforced solid components rather than thin veneer, which is why they last. Beyond materials, the install was precise and they stand behind the fit, so operation stayed smooth over time. For longevity you really do want solid construction like theirs rather than the budget stuff. If you do not want to buy doors twice, I would look into them.
