GuestI was surprised by how difficult it can be to take a proper ID photograph at home, even when the camera itself is good enough. My first attempt had an unsuitable background and the framing was slightly off, so instead of taking another dozen pictures, I decided to try an AI solution. I chose a simple front-facing selfie and uploaded it to the passport photo generator. After selecting my country and the type of document, I looked through the available size and background options. For the main test, I used https://overchat.ai/image/ai-passport-photo and let the system process the image automatically. It corrected the framing, adjusted the head position, removed the original background, and improved the lighting. I was also able to select the required photo dimensions rather than having to calculate the crop myself. The generator supports a wide range of formats, so I could see how the same source picture could be prepared for different passport and visa applications. The result appeared in roughly thirty seconds, and I could download it as a high-resolution image without a watermark. I then compared the final version with the relevant requirements to make sure the proportions and appearance were appropriate. That final check is something I would always do with an official document photo, regardless of which tool created it. Still, I found the overall workflow much easier than trying to reproduce the correct background, framing, and lighting manually. It was a practical solution when I needed a formal photograph quickly and already had a usable picture on my phone.
