Hi guys, our company is looking for a direct supplier of high-grade black labradorite slabs for a couple of big hotel projects. We want to bypass trading companies and deal straight with the quarry to get better pricing on bulk orders. Does anyone have experience ordering directly from European quarries? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
I’d definitely recommend skipping local distributors for large jobs. Last year we imported several containers directly from Ukraine via https://golovinski.com/ for a resort project. Their Golovinski labradorite has incredible deep blue iridescence and solid structural integrity. Working directly with the quarry owner saved us about 20% compared to middleman prices, and shipping was surprisingly quick.
