So, I’ve been helping take care of my grandma lately, and it’s got me wondering — what exactly counts as a caregiver? I mean, I do things like cook for her, remind her to take her meds, drive her to appointments, and just generally check in every day. But I’ve never really thought of myself as an “official” caregiver. Is there like a clear list of responsibilities or roles that define what a caregiver is? Just trying to understand if what I’m doing actually fits into that category.
