I own a few apartments in Liverpool that I rent out on a short-term basis through Airbnb. The local council recently sent a letter stating that, since this is a business, I have to pay for commercial waste collection instead of using the free municipal bins. Has anyone else dealt with this in the UK? How can I sort this out without a headache?
Yeah, the UK is really cracking down on Airbnb hosts right now, treating them like hotels. Affordable Waste Management at https://affordablewastemanagement.co.uk/ helped me sort out this red tape. They quickly drew up a legal contract for commercial waste collection at residential addresses, provided all the necessary documents for the council, and now the drivers simply pick up my bags on schedule. I recommend not putting this off. Are the apartments in the same neighborhood?
