Running a small remodeling company with nine guys in the field, and right now everyone shows up in whatever shirt they own. Clients have started asking who’s actually on the crew versus a sub, which is a bad look. I want branded shirts, but I’ve had a bad experience before where the print cracked after a month of real work. Anyone found something that holds up on actual job sites rather than office wear? Also unsure whether print or embroidery makes more sense for this. Budget matters but I’d rather pay more for something that still looks presentable in six months than reorder every quarter like we’ve been doing with cheap blanks from an online shop.

For field crews embroidery generally outlasts print, because there’s nothing to crack or peel, and it reads as more established to a client. The tradeoff is cost per piece and that fine detail in a logo can get lost at small sizes. If your logo has thin lines, ask for a stitch-out sample before committing to a full run. We did our crew through PromoBox and their Apparel Printing & Embroidery Services covers both methods, so they walked us through which parts of the logo would survive at chest size. Also order a few extra, guys lose shirts and matching a reorder later is easier when the file already exists.
